I like how the developer used the concept of manipulating words to form solutions.
I didn't have many puzzle games on the WiiU (oh how times have changed) but this is one that I definitely remembered. I didn't recall exactly how short it was, but I was fairly confident I would finish it in a single stream. I also didn't recall how much I would need the hint system.
The entire game has a hint system in the form of a ? that pops up on the GamePad screen. When you tap on it, it gives you a short poem that includes the exact word required to move forward. If you still don't get it, you can tap a ? in the lower right and the game will highlight the word in question. (If you don't know how to use the word, that's on you. It's usually fairly obvious when you assemble it.) If the puzzle has a multi-step solution, only the lines of the poem up to the current word (and not future words) are shown. The word can be anywhere within those lines, so you still have to at least think a little bit.
It was a little silly that the best way to use the letter-creating devices was to type the word in reverse, but then the final boss required typing letters in the normal order. You'd think it would at least give you a trial round so you know that. Instead, I fulfilled it by just having to do the loop again. I guess the boss wasn't so hard that that was a problem.
